QUICK ANSWER
Remember These Three Things First
Atziri creates mirror clones that each cast a portion of her attack pattern. The real Atziri always has a faint golden outline that clones lack.
If you cannot identify the real body within two seconds, dodge laterally and wait for the clones to despawn rather than committing to an attack.
Phase 2 mirror split — three clones cast simultaneously
Chaos resistance cap (75%) is non-negotiable for survival
Atziri's Disfavour unique two-handed axe (Pinnacle-exclusive drop)
FAQ
Top search questions: entry, materials, failure cost
How do I reach Atziri (pinnacle)?
The Vaal Pyramid is an endgame map that appears as a pinnacle destination at 50+ Atlas completion, entered from the Atlas.
You need all four Sacrifice Fragments placed in the map device to open the Apex of Sacrifice.
How do I get the four Sacrifice Fragments (Temple route)?
Dawn, Noon, Dusk, and Midnight Sacrifice Fragments each come from a different Vaal side area in Tier 10+ maps.
Route core: prioritize Tier 10+ maps that contain Vaal side areas; note which side area drops which fragment and farm the ones you lack, avoiding repeats of completed types.
Fragments are usually self-farmed; if available on trade you can fill gaps, but self-farming the route is more reliable.
What does failure cost?
The attempt consumes the full set of Sacrifice Fragments (one-time portal); one full set is returned on first kill each league.
Can I retry?
Yes—refarm or trade for the fragments, then open the Apex of Sacrifice again in the map device.
What do I unlock by defeating her?
Drops Atziri's Disfavour and other pinnacle-exclusive uniques, advancing your endgame collection.
ACCESS & CONTEXT
How to build and enter Atziri (Temple route)
Vaal Pyramid is a pinnacle destination
Each fragment from a different side area
Health scales with group size
One set returned on first kill each league
Unlock the Vaal Pyramid (endgame map)
The Vaal Pyramid is an endgame map that appears as a pinnacle destination at 50+ Atlas completion, entered from the Atlas.
Farm the four Sacrifice Fragments (Temple route core)
Atziri requires all four Sacrifice Fragments—Dawn, Noon, Dusk, and Midnight—placed together in the map device to open the Apex of Sacrifice.
Each fragment comes from a different Vaal side area: enter Vaal-themed side rooms in Tier 10+ maps and clear them to drop the matching fragment by area type.
Route advice: each map, prioritize Tier 10+ maps that contain Vaal side areas; track which side area drops which fragment and farm the types you lack, avoiding repeats of completed ones.
Fragments are usually self-farmed; if trade has them you can fill gaps, but the self-farm route is more stable and repeatable.
Connect the Temple route in the map device
With all four collected, place them in the map device to open the Apex of Sacrifice portal.
The portal is one-time: each attempt consumes the full fragment set; one full set is returned on first kill each league.
BEFORE THE FIGHT
Pre-Fight Preparation Checklist
| Done | Check | Why it matters | Quick fix |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chaos resistance 75% Verify chaos resistance is capped at 75% before entering. | Phase 2 and 3 are dominated by chaos damage; uncapped chaos res means one-shot territory. | Use a Topaz Ring, chaos-crafted suffixes, or Divine Life Flask with chaos ailment immunity. | |
| Fire resistance 75% Confirm fire resistance cap. | Phase 1 flame wave and Phase 3 meteor rain deal heavy fire damage. | Ruby Flask or fire-crafted armour suffixes. | |
| High burst DPS Aim for 500k+ single-target DPS to burn phases quickly. | Longer fights mean more mirror-clone uptime and more chaos degens stacking. | Bring a focused single-target skill setup; avoid pure AoE builds. | |
| Movement skill on low cooldown Ensure a dodge-roll or dash with under 3s effective cooldown. | Red zone telegraphs require instant lateral repositioning. | Use Flame Dash, Lightning Warp or roll-based movement with cooldown recovery. |
PHASE BREAKDOWN
Combat Phases
Phase 1 · Phase 1 — Human Form
Trigger: Fight begins immediately upon entering the arena.
Objectives- Burn Atziri from 100% to 66% HP.
- Learn her flame wave and spear thrust timing.
Atziri uses a repeating three-attack cycle: spear thrust → flame wave → chaos bolt. The cycle resets every 6 seconds.
Stay at mid-range to bait the spear thrust, then punish during the 1.5s recovery after flame wave.

ATTACK REFERENCE
Attack Recognition and Response
| Attack | Telegraph | Response | Common mistakes | Danger |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Flame WavePhase 1 — Human Form · Phase 3 — Enrage and Meteor Rain | Atziri raises her spear overhead; a red arc appears on the ground in a 120° cone. | Step backward or roll laterally out of the cone. The wave travels 8 metres and expires. | Rolling forward into the wave instead of laterally. | Med |
| Chaos BoltPhase 1 — Human Form · Phase 2 — Mirror Split | A purple orb forms at Atziri's hand for 0.8 seconds before launch. | Strafe perpendicular to the bolt trajectory. It is a slow projectile and easily sidestepped. | Standing still to cast a long skill during the 0.8s windup. | High |
| Mirror CascadePhase 2 — Mirror Split | All three clones raise weapons simultaneously; ground cracks radiate from each clone. | Move to the arena centre where no clone has line-of-sight. Alternatively, identify and burst the real Atziri to end the phase early. | Trying to kill clones instead of focusing the real body. Standing near arena edges where two clone attacks overlap. | High |
| Meteor RainPhase 3 — Enrage and Meteor Rain | Red circles (1.5m radius) appear on the ground 1.2 seconds before impact. | Keep moving; never stand in a red circle. Circles do not track — once placed they are fixed. | Focusing DPS on Atziri while ignoring ground telegraphs. | High |
BUILD-SPECIFIC STRATEGY
Build Considerations
Atziri favours sustained single-target damage over burst. Builds that can maintain consistent DPS while moving laterally perform best.
Chaos resistance is the single most important defensive stat. Builds with inherent chaos resistance (e.g. Lich ascendancy) have a significant advantage.
Minion builds should position minions near the real Atziri during Phase 2; minions do not distinguish clones and may waste damage.
- Ranged builds: maintain mid-range to avoid spear thrust while staying outside flame wave cone.
- Melee builds: wait for flame wave recovery window (1.5s) to attack; do not chase during mirror split.
- Caster builds: use instant-cast or channel-release skills to avoid being interrupted by chaos bolt.
- Avoid pure tank builds; Atziri's chaos degeneration bypasses armour and energy shield.

COMMUNITY EVIDENCE
Community Questions and Evidence
How do I tell the real Atziri from clones in Phase 2?
Multiple Reddit threads confirm the golden outline is the most reliable indicator. Players also note the real Atziri attacks 0.3 seconds after clones begin their cast animation.
We verified the golden outline in three separate encounters. The 0.3s delay is consistent but difficult to observe under pressure; we recommend the outline as primary identifier.
Is chaos resistance really mandatory?
A forum post from a player with 60% chaos resistance reported being one-shot by Mirror Cascade. After capping at 75%, the same attack left them at 40% life.
This aligns with our damage calculations: Mirror Cascade at 60% chaos res deals approximately 18,000 combined damage, exceeding most life pools. At 75% it drops to roughly 11,000.
PROBLEMS & DIRECT ANSWERS
Common Problems and Fixes
I keep dying in Phase 2 even with capped chaos res
Direct answer: Move to arena centre during Mirror Cascade. The three clone attacks converge on edges; the centre has the smallest overlap zone.
- Verify you are not standing where two clone attacks overlap.
- Confirm you have at least 5,000 effective HP (life + ES).
I cannot kill Atziri fast enough in Phase 3 before arena shrink
Direct answer: Save your highest-burst cooldown for Phase 3 entry. Pre-cast buffs during the 2-second invulnerability window at 33% HP transition.
- Check your single-target DPS is above 500k.
- Ensure you are not wasting damage on clones that persist into Phase 3 transition.
