Player impact in 30 seconds

0.5.4b is a fix and readability wave. It does not add content but it changes how several Boss fights read and how Expedition areas complete.

The pages most affected are Arbiter of Ash / Divinity and Vessel of Kulemak (telegraphs and windows), plus Expedition Boss and area completion Guides.

Because Oath Rune was fixed again in a later Hotfix, Expedition pages cannot be marked verified against 0.5.4b alone.

Boss readability

Update attack tables

Arbiter and Vessel of Kulemak got clearer windows and earlier cues. Old timing descriptions are stale.

Expedition completion

Re-test area exits

Invisible, invincible, out-of-bounds and underground issues were addressed. Route Guides must re-verify.

Oath Rune

Cite the later Hotfix

The invincible-monster case was fixed after 0.5.4b, so 0.5.4b alone is not enough.

Atlas progress

No new points

0.5.4b did not grant new Atlas points; it fixed progression-blocking states.

Official changes, reorganised by player problem

Expedition completion fixes

Old content riskRoute Guides written before 0.5.4b may promise exits or completions that failed because of invisible or out-of-bounds states.
Current content requirementState that 0.5.4b fixed these states; for Oath Rune, also cite the later Hotfix before claiming a route is safe.

The Arbiter windows finally feel fair after the cue change.
Matches the official readability goal; keep it as a community signal, not a mechanical proof.

Underground mobs still felt inconsistent until the follow-up fix.
Confirms why Expedition pages must cite the later Hotfix, not 0.5.4b alone.

Direct answers

Is 0.5.4b a content patch?

No. 0.5.4b is a Boss-readability and Expedition-completion fix wave.

It changes how fights read and how areas finish, but does not add new systems or items.

Why do Expedition pages still say 're-check'?

Oath Rune invincible-monster cases were fixed in a later Hotfix, after 0.5.4b.

Pages must cite both 0.5.4b and that Hotfix before claiming a route is verified.

Known issues

  • TrackingOath Rune invincible-monster case tracked to the 0.5.4d Hotfix (after 0.5.4b).
  • OpenA few player reports of inconsistent underground rendering persisted until the follow-up fix.
