FAQ
Top search questions: Spirit, buff, items
Is Ignagduk optional?
Yes — she is an Act 3 optional boss, but the permanent +30 Spirit makes her a high-priority target.
Where does +30 Spirit come from?
From Gemrot Skull, a drop you must right-click to consume. It is not auto-granted by the kill or by talking to Servi.
What is the Ghastly Spear for?
A separate drop handed to Servi to complete Tribal Vengeance / claim the quest reward. It is not the Spirit item.
Why do players think she gives passive points?
Confusion with other bosses; Ignagduk grants Spirit via the Skull, not passive skill points.

OVERVIEW
Why This Boss Matters
Ignagduk is the source of a permanent +30 Maximum Spirit — a rare, account-progression resource that expands your skill setup for the rest of the game. That alone justifies the optional fight.
She is not a difficulty wall; the value is the reward. Plan the kill around securing both drops and the buff.
- Permanent +30 Maximum Spirit.
- Rare account-progression resource.
- Worth it even though optional.
OVERVIEW
Ritual Buff Route (Fire Resistance)
Before the fight, the Azak Bog ritual grants Ignagduk's Harvest Buff, a Fire Resistance buff. Collect the five Effigies first to enable the buff, then fight with the resistance online.
The buff is a fight aid, not a permanent reward — it can fade after death. Use it during the attempt, do not rely on it afterward.
- Five Effigies enable the Fire Resist buff.
- Buff aids the fight, not permanent.
- Can fade on death — use it in the attempt.

OVERVIEW
Reward Claim Flow
Kill Ignagduk, then two items drop. Gemrot Skull must be right-clicked to consume for the permanent +30 Maximum Spirit. Ignagduk's Ghastly Spear is a separate drop handed to Servi to complete Tribal Vengeance and claim the quest reward.
They are NOT the same reward and Spirit is NOT auto-granted by the kill or by talking to Servi. If your Spirit did not increase, you likely did not consume the Skull.
- Kill Ignagduk.
- Gemrot Skull -> right-click use -> +30 Spirit (permanent).
- Ghastly Spear -> give to Servi -> quest reward.
- Two separate rewards; Skull use is required for Spirit.
BEFORE THE FIGHT
Pre-Fight Preparation Checklist
| Done | Check | Why it matters | Quick fix |
|---|---|---|---|
| Capped Fire Resistance Verify fire res at 75% cap. | Most of her damage is Fire. | Fire rolls, charm, corrupted gear. | |
| Five Effigies Collect Effigies for the buff. | Enables the Fire Resist buff for the fight. | Clear the bog ritual first. | |
| Inventory space Room for two drops. | Skull and Spear both drop. | Clear a slot. | |
| Know the claim Plan to use the Skull. | Spirit needs the Skull consumed. | Right-click on drop. |
BUILD-SPECIFIC STRATEGY
Build Considerations
Ignagduk is a moderate fight; the challenge is securing the reward, not surviving. Fire Resistance and the ritual buff make the kill trivial for most builds.
Melee must wait for her landing windows; ranged can pressure during flight but should respect the flame lanes.
- Melee: hit on landing windows.
- Ranged: pressure in flight, dodge flame.
- Fire Resist + buff simplifies the kill.
- Focus on the reward claim, not the damage.
