QUICK ANSWER

Remember These First

Mighty Silverfist is a hidden optional boss in the Act 3 Jungle Ruins whose kill drops the Book of Specialisation, granting +2 Weapon Set Passive Skill Points — not normal Passive Points.

He is easy to miss: no quest marker, procedurally placed at the Temple Ruins; press Tab to enlarge the minimap and spot the 'Temple Ruins' label.

Stay behind him — most hits are forward shockwaves; the Commando Roll has almost no tell.

The Book drops on the ground; pick it up AND right-click it. It grants Weapon Set Passive Points, shown in the Weapon Set node, not your main pool.

FAQ

Top search questions: location, Book, points

Where is Mighty Silverfist in the Jungle Ruins?

From Ziggurat Encampment enter the Jungle Ruins; he spawns at the Temple Ruins landmark, usually near the center or a map edge. There is no quest marker — look for the 'Temple Ruins' label on the enlarged minimap.

Why is he so easy to miss?

He is an optional boss off the critical path with no marker; maps are procedurally generated. Players rushing Act 3 skip him.

Why didn't I get Passive Points?

The Book of Specialisation drops on the ground and must be picked up AND right-clicked. The +2 are Weapon Set Passive Points (Weapon Set node), not your normal Passive Point total.

Is the Commando Roll a one-shot?

No. It was reduced in damage twice (0.1.1 and 0.2.0). It is still fast and low-tell, but do not use old launch-era one-shot numbers.

OVERVIEW

Encounter Overview

Mighty Silverfist is a slow, heavily telegraphed optional boss built around a giant pillar. All four of his attacks deal Physical damage, and staying behind him is the safest position because most hits are forward shockwaves.

He is not the hardest boss, but he can one-shot under-geared builds with the Pillar Slam. Below about half HP his Commando Roll appears and his combos tighten.

  • All Physical damage — elemental / Fire reportedly shreds him.
  • Stay behind him; front shocks are the danger.
  • The Book of Specialisation is the point of the fight.
5

ARENA READING

Arena and Hidden Location

The fight takes place at the Temple Ruins, a small open area. The bigger challenge is finding him: the Jungle Ruins are procedurally generated, he has no quest marker, and the only hint is the 'Temple Ruins' text label.

Clear the trash mobs around the Temple Ruins first — distractions are deadly against a boss that can one-shot. A checkpoint is usually nearby for recovery.

  • No quest marker; look for 'Temple Ruins' on the map.
  • Press Tab to enlarge the minimap.
  • Clear trash before the fight.

PHASE BREAKDOWN

Phases & Fight Flow

Phase 1 · Phase 1 — Continuous Fight (Escalating)

Trigger: Engage at the Temple Ruins.

Objectives
  • Punish after slams
  • Roll the Roll
  • Stay behind

No formal phase split; below ~50% HP the Commando Roll intensifies and combos tighten.

BUILD-SPECIFIC STRATEGY

Build Considerations

Silverfist rewards patience: bait a slam or slash, punish the recovery, then reset. Treat it like a turn-based loop — attack, dodge, attack.

Melee wants to stay behind him to avoid the forward shockwaves; ranged can kite but must respect the Commando Roll's forward lunge. Physical mitigation is the priority, not DPS.

  • Melee: stay behind, punish after slams.
  • Ranged: kite, respect the Roll lunge.
  • Physical mitigation cuts one-shot risk.
  • Don't attack during the Spin.

Weapon set passive points not dropping

Players on 0.4 / PS5 report the Book 'yet to drop'; usually user error — never picked up or never right-clicked.
Editorial analysis

The +2 are Weapon Set Passive Points in the Weapon Set node, not the normal Passive Point total. Confusion is common.
