Run pierce + buff on a low budget. Cap resistances, fix Accuracy and life, keep the buff zone up on rares.

Bossing

If pierce whiffs often, the problem is Accuracy, not the spear. When the boss moves a lot, place Spear Field on the narrow path it must cross, not at its feet.

Budget Tiers: Real Cheap vs Luxury Differences

Luxury: high spear level, specific Uniques, capped Chaos Res and crit, raising both spear resolution and survival, plus a second spear for set swap. It changes ceiling and error margin, not turning cheap into a different build.
Mirror tier only after you have verified cheap/luxury pass and client numbers confirm; do not sacrifice Chaos Res and Accuracy for DPS.
